The publications were not translated into foreign languages. They were published in English (in 2018 they were translated into Russian). However, that did not stop the numismatists from different countries from purchasing the publications and using them as a desk book.

The publication was not the only one; it includes publications dedicated to four periods:

• 1701-1800;
• 1801-1900;
• 1901-2000.

A valuable publication for numismatist is the “Consolidated catalog of Russian coins of 1699-1917” – a bestseller in two volumes, published in 2003. The catalog presents coins of tsarist Russia. The author of the publication is V.V. Bitkin.
